Pregnant

Starlight Glimmer is waiting anxiously to see her results from a test she never thought she would take anytime soon.

She and Sunburst have officially been going steady for about 8 months now and they just started living together for the past 2- going on to 3 months now. Starlight was still ever new to being in a relationship, and has only dating 2 other ponies for a short amount of time before dating Sunburst, seriously.

"Come on, come on, come ooon..." She paced back and fourth to what seemed like hours.

The five minutes were up, she levitated the test in front of her face and gave a giant sigh of relief.

"Whew, thank goodnes." 

She put the test down, and fixed her restroom a bit and began to put everything away. As soon as she picked up the test again, she looked at it again- but this time with a different answer.

"Wh-what? How can this be?! I just checked it a minute ago, I-" She was lost for words and didn't say anything else. She cupped her hoof on her mouth and began to think anxiously.

How can I be pregnant?! H-how can this have happened? Sunburst and I- we, uh. We only did it once but that couldn't be enough for this to happen! I calculated everything perfectly, nothing could have gone wrong! I-.... How am I going to tell Sunburst?

Starlight began cleaning everything quickly, she knew Sunburst would be home soon, he never misses their special study sessions on time travel and the space time continuum. She began to calm herself down, only knowing that she was freaking out internally. 

"Starlight, I'm home. How are you? Were things okay here?" Sunburst; Flurry Heart's crystaller, guardian over Flurry Heart and all of the crystal empire's children, settled down only to hear that his home with his new mate, was quiet.

"Starlight? W-where are you?" He began to search for her, checking their backyard, their room, kitchen, everywhere. He then got to the restoom only to find that the door was locked.

He knocked gently not trying to startle Starlight.

"Starlight? Are... You in there? Is everything okay?" He began to look concerned, the door slowly opened. His marefriend was red faced and was on the verge of tears.

"Starlight?! What's wrong? Please tell me what's wrong?" He looked up at her as her head was tilted down, it looked like she wanted to speak but couldn't find the words.

"I-I...." Starlight kept her head down, she didn't want to look at him.

"....You-You don't have to tell me if you're not ready." He only had a caring face for her, looking only at her making sure that she's fine.

Starlight looked up at him, she met his eyes and realized she had to tell him.

"This morning you know I was feeling very sick, and I was sure that I calculated everything correctly that we wouldn't have this mistake and I know we aren't ready yet and I know I haven't been feeling well but I wasn't sure what these feelings were so I decided to go to the store and buy something, but I felt like everypony was judging me and looking at me so I ran away! I left and I had to ask Princess Cadence if she could help me and I was too embarrassed to ask her and-"

Sunburst interrupted her.

"Starlight, you're rambling again. Just tell me what is going on?"

Starlight looked at him in tears, she chocked up and tried getting the words out as best as she could.

"I-...Sunburst- I... I'm pregnant." 

Silence.

Sunburst's glasses fell down to the tip of his nose.

"Are- Are you really Pregnant?" He said as he lifted his glasses back to the middle of his face.

Starlight looked at him in tears. "Y-yes."

"Wow. Um, Wow... Starlight, you were upset about this? Why did you hide and not tell me this?" Sunburst looked at her nervously.

"I, I knew we both agreed to not rush into things and that we both said we didn't want any foals until we were sure but... I didn't know what to do! I... I was scared, I am scared." She said as she looked down at the floor.

"Starlight, It's okay. Sometimes.... life happens?" He says as he laughs nervously trying to cheer her up. He looked at her again and placed his head against hers.

"I'm scared." Starlight said as she looked at him, Sunburst gave her a gentle smile. Starlight then smiled at him and put her head on his shoulder.

"You know, sometimes, things don't go accordingly to plan and sometimes, it works out better that way." Sunburst said as he holds her hoof and gives her a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Did, you not want it?"

"No, it's just. It's so soon... but, I want it. I want to have this baby.... Sunburst I'm scared. What if we become horrible parents? or they come out spoiled, or- or!-"

"Starlight, it's okay." He said calming her down. He gave her a smile, reassuring her.

"I'm scared too."

Welp, Here is the story of how Moonlight Eclipse Sparkle became to be!.. kinda? haha at least this is when Starlight tells Sunburst that she's pregnant with their first baby.

Yeah, Moonlight was an unplanned baby although Starlight and Sunburst planned everything, just.... not to have a baby ahaha

But don't get me wrong! They definitely are ready to be parents, but they are ready to do whatever it takes for their little family. And, when Moonlight was born, they fell in love with her. They knew that although having her wasn't planned- she was anything but a mistake. She was their miracle. 

Moonlight ended up being spoiled btw lol it wasn't until Moonlight was older when they decided to have another baby. lol But this time they were prepared for it- haha.

Use protection kids, don't have kids yet until you're ready and financially stable with a healthy relationship(to yourself or your s/o) Starlight and Sunburst are adults that are very serious about each other, are very rich and live together- they can do it. Haha, just be careful.
