Damn Skyla, yiu're taking this too far, well hey, can't blame your sister for wanting to join the guard. Oh wait, yes you can XD lol JK 

I can see Skyla and Radiant Dawn doing the whole "do it for her" kinda thing, more or less at the moment for their mother, Skyla is actually very highly trained and it one of the best fighters in the entire crystal empire, if she didn't constantly remind every one that she is the next and permanent princess until who knows when, she could be a very great leader of the guard. But, for now she is just a lady in waiting and prepares herself almost everyday in case she has to take the throne. She trains her sister personally, and teaches her any kind of fighting that has ever been made.

Radiant Dawn on the other hand, only wants to fight and pick fights with almost any pony who she sees as a threat. She gets a few booboos here and there, but that doesn't stop her. Radiant Dawn is like 10-11 in this picture while Skyla is like 19 or so. Skyla teaches Radiant that she must fight for her mom, and never turn her back on her mother or the royal family.

hence, "you do it for her" As in "You do it for mom"
