Apple Secret

AppleJack and Caramel searched everywhere for their daughter, their one and only daughter, Sweet Apple. She was helping her cousins buck the trees, but her cousins said she wandered too far into the hills. AppleJack and Caramel contacted their friends and then began their search for Sweet Apple.

 

AppleJack: "Caramel.... Wha-what if we can't find her? What are we gonna do?" she said in a panic, her husband soon tried to calm her down by putting her hoof around her.

Caramel: "It'll be fine Aj... we just can' give up. You know the farm like the back of your hoof, she couldn't have gotten far. I'm sure of it."

After some time, they still couldn't find her. They searched everywhere for her and skies began to get cloudy. It was going to rain.

AppleJack: "Caramel! We need to find her now!" Applejack said as she began to hyperventilate "I need mah baby.... I can't lose another one of my babies!!...." She froze, she began to shake and she fell to the floor. "Caramel.... What if something terrible happened to her? Ah-... Ah don't know what to do, it's been hours Caramel..."

Caramel wasn't too sure what he could do to comfort his wife, he kept telling her it would be okay. It soon started getting dark as the clouds came in, it began to rain and the husband and wife decided to check a part of Sweet Apple Acres that most ponies didn't know about.

AppleJack: "Caramel... it's raining" She said faintly "Mah baby is cold... she's wet, cold, hungry. She's probably scared to death wonderin' where her momma and poppa are..."

Caramel: "Aj, it's going to be fine. we're going to find her. this is the last place she could be at... she has to be here." As the couple kept walking they heard a faint voice in the distance, a very calm tone but the voice of a young filly.

AppleJack: "Do you hear that?" She said as she stopped her husband and they froze. trying to hear the faint voice in the loud rain.

Caramel:".... Aj, are you sure you're no-" He was cut off, AppleJack's hoof covered his mouth. 

AppleJack: "Sh!.... listen..." They both stayed quiet and they slowly walked up a hill that was way too familiar to not remember. There they head the voice again. The rain began to slow down to a stop

???:"apples forever... apples together..."

Caramel and Applejack continue to follow the voice, as they headed closer.

???:"Theres no place I'd rather be..." the tiny voice let out a small sigh. "I-...I wish ah could come over her more often... Momma and Poppa don't let me come here... ah dunno why. It's calm... it's the perfect view of our farm... ah know I'm still young... but whenever something gets to me, ah find myself coming back here... Momma doesn't understand... no one understands why ah love coming here."

AppleJack and Caramel walk to the top of the hill, there... they finally found her. They found Sweet Apple. But Caramel stopped AppleJack before she could reach to her daughter.

Caramel: "Aj, just wait a bit... let her be here a little longer" Apple jack was confused as to why she can't run to her daughter and scoop her up in her hooves and give her kisses... but somehow for some reason she waited. They continued to listen to what Sweet Apple was saying.

Sweet Apple: "Sometimes I get scared of buckin' trees... ah get scared that I might kick a tree and it'll fall on me or ma cousin. ah get so scared that ma friends might not like me cause ah like helping my momma and nana smith here on the farm. I get scared of thunder an lightnin' that ah wanna go to my poppa and momma's room. But momma said ah gotta ask like a big filly and not be scared of little ol' lights in the sky... Ah feel so lonely sometimes..."

AppleJack and Caramel had a realization where she was. They wondered how she knew to get there when they never told her.

Sweet Apple: "The thing is.... ah get lonely... All ma friends have brothers and sisters... but ah don't. If ah had a big brother he could protect me from the storms... if ah had a younger brother or sister ah could have somepony to teach appple buckin' too. But, ah think ah would like to have a big sister the most...."

Apple Jack and Caramel began to feel an empty gut feeling in them. trying to hold their tears. Light started to shine through the clouds.

Sweet Apple continued to talk and she re positioned herself to be a little more comfortable. "Ah think she would be able to protect me, teach me alotta things. We could've shared rooms and secrets.. She could take me anywhere ah wanted to go to too... But no pony understands... no pony but you, Apple Fritter. Thanks you for listen to me again." Sweet apple took a deep breath and began to stretch before getting up to leave.

Sweet then heard a gasp or a whimper, she turned around and realized it was her momma. She saw her mother on the floor and her father trying to help up.

Sweet Apple:"Momma?? Poppa???" she ran towards them and apologized for not telling them where she was at. She felt so bad. "I'm sorry for not telling you where ah was at momma! I should've told you... I'm sorry momma, don't cry."

Caramel and Applejack fixed themselves up a bit with Applejack still crying a bit. Applejack scooped her daughter in her hooves and gave her many kisses. She put her faughter down and cupped her hooves onto Sweet Apples face.

AppleJack: "Sweet Apple... honey... There's something your Pa and I gotta tell you."

WOW OKAY WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I WROTE SOMETHING SERIOUS AND ACTUALLY GOES WITH THE STORYLINE??? HAHAHA LIKE NEVER.

I swear I started getting emotional writing this and I've never really wrote anything that dealth with death so feel kinda of anxious inside bc reasons lol.

SO ANYWAYS, LSS- Sweet Apple had a place in sweet apple acres that helps her calm down whenever she has some sort of anxiety or nervous breakdown. That place is a hill that has a tombstone and now Sweet Apple knows what death is because at this time Granny Smith is always telling everyone that "Now I aint got that much time on this planet so ya'll better be working twice as hard for me!" even though she's just saying that so she can take like 20 naps. Sweet Apple likes to visit this place where "Apple Fritter" is and she feels comforted enough just by the scenery and the nice air and cool breeze that she started talking to herself/ Apple Fritter. She comes to this place and soon enough AppleJack and Caramel tell her that Apple Fritter was her Big Sister that never made it into the world.

Extra(Reason why Sweet Apple runs off) It's not until one day that she leaves without notice from bucking apples with her cousins so she can calm down. The reason being is because her cousins kept making jokes about how the giant tree will fall if she bucks it too hard and it'll fall on somepony and so her cousins decided to scare her and called her for help. Apple Blossom and Blenheim Orange found a tree that was already broken down and Blenheim decided to act out as if he had been crushed by the tree. Now Sweet Apple is young and very gullible so she believes it and tried pulling out her cousin from underneath the tree while Apple Blossom was just laughing.

Blen(lets call him blen for short) soon scares her and Sweet apple gets upset and calls him a Rotten Worm Eaten Apple (this is her biggest swear as a filly) and runs off. Blen realizes her hurt her feelings and he and Apple Blossom yelled out to her apologizing telling her it's a joke, but she gets too far away to even hear them.

SooOOooOOoOoooo yeah. This is probably gonna cause her some issues in the future. Now Older Sweet Apple doesn't have as high anxiety as she did when she was younger but she still gets it when she's under alot of stress.

So, character development for Sweet Apple, maybe? Old Sketchy work.
